About ICEE Success Foundation

 

Integrating Curiosity and Learning: ICEE (Institute where Creativity Empowers Education) Success is devoted to positively impacting the future by promoting opportunities to increase vital creative and innovation thinking skills in students and adults of all ages.

 

Partnership with Palestine ISD:

• In schools, ICEE promotes creative and innovation thinking tied with standards-based learning in partnership with schools, districts, and Texas Education Agency (TEA) region service centers. A primary partner is Palestine ISD. Other East Texas partners include Caldwell Elementary Arts Academy in Tyler ISD and TEA Region VII Education Service Center.

• ICEE provides: 1) curriculum development and classroom implementation; 2) educator professional development; and 3) research in collaboration with local, state, national, and international partners. Data and anecdotal information validate the success of this work. 

• Museums: In work with museums, exhibits, and after-school programming, ICEE integrates play, curiosity, learning, and creative/innovation thinking. Success is seen in last year’s Philip Beesley Living Architecture exhibit, which drew a large number of visitors of all ages, who reported having great experiences at the exhibit. ICEE works with a number of world-class museums nationally.
